Impulse files can be saved in a few different locations.

One option is to open each XOP package (by selecting ‘Show Package Contents’) and to save each downloaded XOP’s files to its resources folder. Example using the BRIRCR1NeumannKU100 XOP:

Users <UserName>   Documents WaveMetrics Igor Pro 9 User Files Igor Extensions (64-bit)

BRIRCR1NeumannKU100-64.xop Contents Resources individual CR1 impulse files can go here

Another option is to save the same files in the ‘Igor Pro 9 User Files’ folder or in a properly named sub-folder.

Users <UserName>   Documents WaveMetrics Igor Pro 9 User Files downloaded impulse files

Users <UserName>   Documents WaveMetrics Igor Pro 9 User Files SpHr BRIR Files downloaded impulse files

Users <UserName>   Documents WaveMetrics Igor Pro 9 User Files SpHr BRIR Files downloaded impulse file folder downloaded impulse files

One way to view these paths is to run the examples provided at the bottom of each XOP’s Help section. After disposing a harmless warning message telling you the files are missing, the various paths where required impulse files may be saved are written to Igor Pro’s Command Window.

BRIRs are currently only for the Neumann KU100 dummy head.

BRIRs for the Neumann KU100 made available by TH Köln, University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Communication Systems, Laboratory for Acoustics, Audio Technology and Audio Signal Processing of Prof. Christoph Pörschmann.
